The spirit of excellence that defines the University of Ibadan’s Literary and Debating community shone brightly once again, as two of our seasoned public speaking veterans emerged victorious at the International Law Association, Nigerian Branch Interschool Debate Competition 2025, 
held on April 10, 2025.
Competing against some of the nation’s most brilliant orators, our representatives displayed exceptional skill, critical insight, and rhetorical mastery. Their outstanding performance secured the championship title and reaffirmed the University of Ibadan’s towering reputation on the intellectual stage.
This victory is a testament to the dedication, resilience, and passion that characterize the UI Literary and Debating community. It speaks to countless hours of preparation, an enduring commitment to the art of persuasive communication, and an unyielding pursuit of excellence.
